Deputy Governor Urges Commercial Banks to Reduce Interest Rates


    The Deputy Governor, Dr Louis Kasekende, has advised commercial banks to reduce interest rates in order to make loans more accessible to the bank clients and businessmen.
     
    Dr Kasekende, revealed this while officiating at the Standard Chartered Bank’s 100 year anniversary on Friday August 17, 2012 .  He said making loans more accessible will spur economic growth.
