Shortlists for Vacant positions in Currency and Legal Departments

Bank of Uganda wishes to inform all those who responded to the advertisement for the following positions that the short lists have been finalised and can be viewed at the Bank of Uganda headquarters or any of the Regional Bank of Uganda Branches located in the following towns: Arua, Masaka, Kabale, Gulu, Mbale, Jinja, Fort Portal and Mbarara;

1. Currency Clerks (Technicians) - Four (4) Positions
2. Legal Clerk - One (1) Position

Only Shortlisted candidates will be contacted in due course to attend Aptitude and Written Technical tests for the stated positions.

Internship Program

Bank of Uganda’s Internship Programme offers a wide range of opportunities for students to gain insight and appreciation of the technical and administrative implementation of Central Banking programmes and knowledge in a conducive working environment of the Bank.

Internship Applications

  • Applications for the February intake should be submitted between 1st and 30th November of the preceding Year;
  • Applications for the June to August intakes should be submitted between 1st February and 30th April of each calendar Year.
